Because of our Climate and Geography, life here is a very enjoyable one. First of all, like already stated, our Geography is very good for industries such as shipbuilding, whaling,, and fishing. Then, because of our climate, Connecticut has really fertile soil for one to use in the industries of farming. Equally important, Connecticut is located right next to the Atlantic Ocean, letting us access a vast amount of trade routes. Also in Connecticut, we are bisected by the Connecticut River, which has fertile farmland that is a very great place for growing apples, shade tobacco, and corn while using it for trade routes.

In the winter, the climate drops to around 40 degrees, and it starts snowing. Now many people may see snow as a con, it provides a challenge for more work, keeping many happy. During spring, the snow starts to melt and the temperature goes up and heads into our beautiful summer. In summer, our days are the perfect temperature for one living here. Unlike other states where their summer is extremely hot, Connecticut has only around 12 days where the temperature is above 90 degrees. Once it’s fall, the leaves start to turn yellow-just like any other state-and towards the end of the season it starts to snow. So as one can see, the climate and geography of Connecticut makes a great place for one to settle.
